Origins is planning an international conference to shed light on past and current, human rights abuses by Australian governments and non-government institutions. The Conference will be directed by Origins in conjunction with seminal Australian author on the topic of adoption, Dr Patricia Farrar who will also be a guest speaker at the Conference.The timing of the conference will coincide with the first anniversary of the final report of the current Australian Senate Inquiry into forced adoption.

This is a story that I think needs to be told. It is in part also, to come to terms with the reality that this, like it or not, it‘s my past – and as bazar as it was, it created me into the person I am today – a survivor of childhood torture bestowed upon me by the Commonwealth and it‘s agencies in a eugenics program for The Aryan Race. The Lebesborn, the child created of good blood to the blonde, blue eyed single mother for racial supremacy.
In short, a 'Caucasian' in this context comes to be the White Man ―par excellence‖, so that this term has taken on something of the meaning which in Hitler's time attached to 'Aryan.'

I too have come to the reality of having my firsy born abducted from us it is an extremly painful and at times unbearable journey that I would not wish upon anyone today I watched a Movie of a fathers battle to reclai, his children from the catholic orphanages of Ierland it reqiured him taking his case to the highest court in the land and establishing a parents Inailable to parent their own child. This same legislation that of a parents inailable right and writen into our Commonwealth law derived from the Westminster system but was denied to us, this is surely a breach of our Human Rights. New born full term babies were used for research at Crown Street hospital to find ways of preventing premature babies dying from respispitory destress. These babies were used without permission. May this conference will sustain and continue through the years and conducted annually. May the learning in the conference will be shared to down to grassroots level.
