Origins is planning an international conference to shed light on past and current, human rights abuses by Australian governments and non-government institutions. The Conference will be directed by Origins in conjunction with seminal Australian author on the topic of adoption, Dr Patricia Farrar who will also be a guest speaker at the Conference.The timing of the conference will coincide with the first anniversary of the final report of the current Australian Senate Inquiry into forced adoption.
